Liujiang,born in Wangzhou Sunjia  town in Chongqing province, is the professorof China National Academy of Art, the president of Xiling Society of Seal Arts,thedirector of Chinese seal museum, the calligraphy and seal artistand educator. His original name is Fuan and art-name is Huan and Zhifei.Mr Liuleft Wangzhou when he was 17 years old .In1945, he graduated from NormalUniversity and studied painting in Chongqing State Vocational ART School.In1949, heentered Chinese People's Liberation Army and later joined the Korean War. Afterhe returned home from abroad ,he was interviewed by Chairman Mao as therepresentative of voluntary army.1957,he came back to Zhejiang Academy of FineArts to study and later taught in the university.

Mr. Liu once learned from Zhu Leshanand was the student of Wu Changshuo.He also learned from Pan Tianshou, LuWeizhao and Sha Menghai.

Mr Liu is an artist known in theworld , who is excellence in both skills and moral integrity. To support thedevelopment of culture and education cause in his hometown ,he donated hisworks of art , came back teaching ,and contributed money to build the road andschools.2011,Mr Liu donated his  elaborate works---80 works of calligraphyand 20 seals to Wangzhou museum freely, and at this time he was very old.Through these works ,we can know more about the exploration and achievementsMr. Liu made in calligraphy and seal art and feel his deep emotion when he gothome。

Mr. Liu ismajor in seal script, and he is also good at regular script.His regular scriptis learned from Li Beihai and Huang Shangu.His seal script have thecharacteristics of Qin and Han dynasty, drawing the quintessence of oraclebone, King Wins and faceted bones, which is distinguished for astonishingmomentum and forceful strokes. He has an eye for beauty and wise skills ,so hecan combine Liejie, oracle bone, Qinzhuan and han-li together ,achieving theharmony of  flesh and bone , power and air,  and god and rhyme.Whatever it is , the tough oracle bone, the mild small seal script andmajestic Hanzhuan or the letter writing as essays, the  Joji giant system,he use his excellent rhythm pen and create them. A line from his pen is intension and relaxation properly. The strategy of ups and downs is full offlesh and soul, containing a wide and open spirit and greatsetup    

The engraved work of Mr. Liu has majestic powerbetween lines and the rhythm is meaningful .The engraved work dates back to Qinand Han dynasty. inspiredby WuChangshuo, in the same way,he created a new way , in which the Diezhuan seal and Oracle bone script sealare most distinguishing. The engraved work of Mr. Liu has circumflex power and is fullof reality and smartness. Under the bewildering style hides the flowing beautyof his pen .And the characteristic for tasting the working knife can also befelt in the work with a simple and straight ideal condition. His oracle bonescript seal is simple and honest ,paying significance to the power and withgreat marks of knife and pen .It is concentrates in rhythm ,simple but alsoheavy, dense but also in order.
